Overview

It is only in Ngutuni Sanctuary, in the whole of Tsavo East National Park, where one can do a night game drive conveniently and spot a lot of animals including many big cats at very close range.

Ngutuni Sanctuary is a 10,000 acre private game sanctuary located between Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks. Its location makes it a perfect base from which to explore the game parks of southern Kenya like Tsavo National Park and Amboseli National Park and the Kenya Coast beach resorts. Game viewing is superb at Ngutuni with elephant, lion, buffalo and a variety of antelope regularly visiting the Lodge’s own waterhole.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Ngutuni Sanctuary at the edge of Tsavo East National Park, Ngutuni Safari Lodge, Meal Plan (FullBoard)

Departing from your hotel in the morning 06:00 and be driven to the edge of Tsavo East National Park for a morning game drive in Ngutuni Sanctuary until time for lunch Ngutuni Safari Lodge.

In the afternoon at 15:30 a further game drive on your Kenyan Safari awaits you until 18:00 where you would revert to the lodge for refreshments. Being the only place you can do night game drive in the whole of Tsavo National Park you would depart for night game drive at 19:00, a night game drive for 1 and half hours reverting for dinner and overnight at your lodge at 21:00.



Day 2: Kenya Coast

On this day you would have tea or coffee and a snack early in the morning at 06:00 after which you depart for morning game drive in the sanctuary including riverside circuits beside the Voi River, Ngutuni Hill with its view point and onwards into Tsavo East National Park reverting for full breakfast at 08:00 then drive back to Kenya coast arriving in the lodge at 13:00.

End of the safari.

Easter & Christmas Surcharges
A surcharge would be charged per person per night on Good Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Easter Monday and on 24th 25th, 26th, 31st December and 1st January. The Surcharge would be confirmed at the time of booking for clarity purposes.


For optimal enjoyment of your safari, we urge you to carry the following:
All weather firm shoe pair, short and dress to use during the day, trouser for use in the evenings with long sleeved shirt, sweater or jacket, hat, swimming costume, sunglass, camera, binocular, sun protection cream and insect repellent spray or cream.
