Our safaris to Mount Kenya cover a broad spectrum of possibilities. We have designed many new itineraries to meet a variety of demands from all types of individuals. We cater to the needs of a range of visitors, from the nature admirer who simply wants to have a leisurely day around the lodge or a day hike to explore the unique lower forest of the Mount Kenya slopes - hoping to have a glimpse of the summits. To the more ambitious, who wishes to summit Point Lenana, we feel that the suggested itineraries offer the best value. However, because the mountain is so large and offers such a diversity of trekking and climbing routes, should there be a need for a special itinerary that you require, please let us know and we will assist you in every way. Detailed trip itinerary
Day 1: No Overnight, All inclusive Mount Kenya Safari
Our day trip is designed for the visitor who has limited time and who is not interested in reaching any of the summits. This safari is tailored to those who are interested in seeing the fascinating vegetation zones of an equatorial mountain and the associated rich animal and bird life. On this safari departure from the lodge is 08:00 then drive to road head of the Naro Moru Track (altitude 3,000 M.). Your guide sets a leisurely pace for a relaxing trek up the mountain. Stop at about 3,600 M. for your picnic lunch and then continue your stroll to the crest of the ridge at 4,000 M, from which vantage point you have a splendid view of the main peaks as well as the Teleki Valley. A quick descent to the met Station and back to the Lodge in time for dinner.

Easter & Christmas Surcharges
A surcharge would be charged per person per night on Good Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Easter Monday and on 24th 25th, 26th, 31st December and 1st January. The Surcharge would be confirmed at the time of booking for clarity purposes.
For optimal enjoyment of your safari, we urge you to carry the following:
All weather firm shoe pair, short and dress to use during the day, trouser for use in the evenings with long sleeved shirt, sweater or jacket, hat, swimming costume, sunglass, camera, binocular, sun protection cream and insect repellent spray or cream.
