As the only safari lodge in the famed Mara Triangle, we offer a setting matched by few other hotels in the world: perched high on a bush-cloaked hill with sweeping views of the savannah and the meandering shoreline of the Mara River. The lodge is designed in the style of a traditional Masai Manyatta, while providing every modern comfort. Neatly arranged rows of rooms and suites are positioned to offer uninterrupted river views from private balconies



Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Masai Mara National Reserve, Mara Serena Safari Lodge (Fullboard)

Meet and greet at the hotel reception, followed by transfer to the airport before 07:00. Fly from Moi International Airport Mombasa, Diani Airport, or Malindi Airport before 07:30 to Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving at Mara Serena Airstrip after about 2 hours. You will then be met and picked up by a 4WD land cruiser with a pop-up roof and both sides open for to Mara Serena Safari Lodge, with a great possibility of seeing wildlife in their natural habitat within Masai Mara National Reserve. There will be refreshments followed by lunch at 13:00.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive from 15:30 to 18:30 time for refreshments, followed by dinner at 19:30 and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve, Mara Serena Safari Lodge (Fullboard)

Early in the morning at 06:00, take tea or coffee and a snack, then depart for a morning game drive at 06:30 with a packed full breakfast to be consumed at a designated spot in the Masai Mara National Reserve wilderness. Continue the game drive until time for lunch at the lodge at 13:00.

Afternoon game drive is from 15:30 to 18:30 time for refreshments, followed by dinner at 19:30 and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Fly to Kenya Coast

This would be your last day of this Kenya safari. You would wake up for a full breakfast, and then be transferred to Mara Serena Airstrip in Masai Mara National Reserve to catch a flight at 11:00 to the Kenya coast. You would fly either to Malindi Airport, Diani Airport, or Moi International Airport in Mombasa, where you are expected to arrive between 13:00 and then be transferred to the hotel reception.

Easter & Christmas Surcharges
A surcharge would be charged per person per night on Good Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Easter Monday and on 24th 25th, 26th, 31st December and 1st January. The Surcharge would be confirmed at the time of booking for clarity purposes.


For optimal enjoyment of your Kenya Safari, we urge you to carry the following:
All weather firm shoe pair, short and dress to use during the day, trouser for use in the evenings with long sleeved shirt, sweater or jacket, hat, swimming costume, sunglass, camera, binocular, sun protection cream and insect repellent spray or cream.
