The name means ‘beautiful place’ in Swahili, and we hope you agree! Mahali Mzuri Safari Camp, Sir Richard Branson’s Kenyan safari camp, is located in the world-famous Maasai Mara ecosystem, right in the path of the annual great migration.

It’s situated within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, which covers an area of 13,500 hectares. Mahali Mzuri is Sir Richard Branson’s 12-tent luxury safari camp in the Kenyan bush. At Mahali Mzuri, you'll have a front-row seat, not just for the migration but also to the abundant game visible all year round. The camp is located in the private Olare Motorogi Conservancy, within the wider Maasai Mara ecosystem.

Detailed Kenya Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Masai Mara National Reserve, Mahali Mzuri (Fullboard)

Meet and greet at the hotel reception, then transfer to the airport before 07:00. Fly from either Moi International Airport Mombasa, Diani Airport or Malindi Airport before 07:30 to Masai Mara National Reserve's Olare Orok Airstrip. The flight lasts approximately 2 hours, after which you will be met and picked up by a 4WD Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof for a transfer to Mahali Mzuri Safari Camp. There is a great possibility of seeing wildlife in their natural habitat in the Masai Mara. There will be refreshments followed by lunch at 13:00.

In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive from 15:30 to 18:30 time for refreshments, followed by dinner at 19:30 and overnight at the camp.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve, Mahali Mzuri (Fullboard)

Early in the Morning at 06:00 take tea or coffee and a snack then depart for morning game drive at 06:30 with packed full breakfast to be consumed at a designated place in the Masai Mara National Reserve wilderness then carry on with game drive until time for lunch in the camp at 13:00.

Afternoon game drive from 15:30 to 18:30, time for refreshments then dinner at 19:30 and overnight in the camp.

Day 3: Fly to Kenya Coast

This would be your last day of this Kenya safari. You would wake up to a full breakfast, and then be transferred to Olare Orok Airstrip in Masai Mara National Reserve to catch your flight at 11:00 to the Kenya coast. You would fly either to Malindi Airport, Diani Airport, or Moi International Airport in Mombasa, arriving between 13:00, where you will be transferred to the hotel reception.

Easter & Christmas Surcharges
A surcharge would be charged per person per night on Good Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Easter Monday and on 24th 25th, 26th, 31st December and 1st January. The Surcharge would be confirmed at the time of booking for clarity purposes.


For optimal enjoyment of your Kenya Safari, we urge you to carry the following:
All weather firm shoe pair, short and dress to use during the day, trouser for use in the evenings with long sleeved shirt, sweater or jacket, hat, swimming costume, sunglass, camera, binocular, sun protection cream and insect repellent spray or cream.
