DAY 1. ARRIVE ENTEBBE AIRPORT Upon arrival
in Entebbe , you will be met and transferred to your hotel
in Kampala . The remainder of the day is at leisure.
DAY
2. LAKE BUYONYI Taking a picnic lunch you drive through scenic
countryside to Lake Buyonyi . The lake area is dotted with
small islands and one of the main islands was a Dutch leper
colony until 1969, overnight at the Far Our Island Camp.
DAY
3. BWINDI NATIONAL PARK You have time to take a short walk
or a chance to fish or canoe on the lake before leaving to
drive into the mountains to Bwindi forest. Bwindi means a
place of darkness aptly derived from the thick vegetation
of the forest. Bwindi has also been called, quite appropriately
the impenetrable forest. The afternoon is at leisure at your
camp, overnight at Buhoma Tented Camp
DAY 4. BWINDI
NATIONAL PARK Excitement builds for your full day of trekking
in search of the elusive and endangered mountain gorilla
nothing can eclipse a moment with these magnificent creatures
depending on when you find your group of gorillas you will
enjoy a picnic lunch before the trek back to the camp, overnight
at Buhoma Luxury Camp
DAY 5. ENTEBBE CITY Drive back
to Entebbe with lunch en route and overnight at the Windsor
Lake Victoria Hotel
DAY 6. ENTEBBE AIRPORT Transfer
to the hotel or to the airport to catch up your departure
flight End of the safari.
Please you are advised for your enjoyment and comfort to
carry the following items.
All weather firm shoes, shorts to use during the day, trouser
for use in the evenings with long sleeved shirt, sweater
or jacket, hat, swimming costume, sunglass, camera, film,
binocular, sun protection cream and insect repellent spray
or cream.
Price per person sharing US$ 1800.00. Single rooms supplement
during the entire safari US$ 360.00
The price includes:
Full board accommodation, park fees, transport in a tourist
min bus from Entebbe airport back to Entebbe airport, all
game drives and gorilla trekking permit.

Notes:
It is estimated that only 650 mountain gorillas remain in
the world. They are found in only 3 countries and Uganda
is estimated to have at least one third of the population.
Gorilla trekking can be arduous, trekking through thick
forest,
up steep slopes and down through valleys. Your trek
can be long or short depending on where the gorillas have moved
during the night.
Once located, most stays with the
gorillas
last about an hour before the return trek to the camp.
Permits
are limited and advance booking is highly recommended.
If
you plan to include gorilla trekking in a pan African
holiday we recommend planning the Uganda portion first.
