The house itself has 3 luxurious bedrooms. Each one has an en-suite bathroom, a wonderfully oversized double bed and an exceptional view of the sea. Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms and generator backup will turn on when power cuts happen.

The infinity plunge pool is the heart of the home and the surrounding veranda areas are perfect for relaxing, sunbathing and sipping a G and T as the waves break on the shore ahead of you. For a more adventurous experience, the roof top terrace is a wonderful space for sleeping under the stars if the weather permits (December to March).

Shopping

Basic food shopping can be done at Watamu supermarket or Mama Lucy’s.

Malindi has all sorts of curios and bargains to find.

Mr. Chai is the local fish expert and he will come to the door with seasonal catches.

Food

Repeat the mantra “seasonal, seasonal, seasonal.” Our in- house chef will create a sumptuous menu for you, or alternatively you can be more specific…it is up to you, but either way it will be delicious.

Activities

Available activities include snorkeling, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, kite-surfing, dhow cruises, forest and eco-tourism walks, rock pooling, bird watching…the list is endless.

Sun & Sand

We have stunning white sandy beaches and the breeze through the house will keep you cool. During seasonal wind changes (Kaskazi and Kuzi) the beach fills up with seaweed but a small stroll down or up the beach will take you past the migrating grass.

Getting here

Easily accessible by air into Malindi, then 1?2 hour taxi.
Drive from Nairobi 8 1?2 hours depending on traffic.
Trains to Mombasa 13 to 24 hours! Then 2 hours taxi

Security

For those that are concerned about security we are linked to a private security system with panic buttons in each room for emergencies only.

We are also members of WAC (Watamu Against Crime) a community watch program that sends regular updates and alerts if needed.

Taxi and useful assistance

Our staff will assist you with any booking and will happily give their advice on any matter including recommended costs for anything you might need.

Naishi is conveniently located far enough from Watamu village to be secluded, but close enough to find what you need. Getting to know the area will not take you long. Watamu is a small place where you can find most things, and Malindi is a little bigger. We prefer to forget the outside world exists and relax completely in the stunning surroundings of Naishi.
