TAS 02: EVENING TAMARIND DHOW (Departs daily)


You will be picked from your coastal hotel after 1600 hours for this interesting and enjoyable evening occasion. On your arrival you will be met by a traditionally dressed waiter who serves you with a “dawa” (meaning medicine in our National Language Kiswahili) the house cocktail made from vodka, lime, honey, sugar and crushed ice.

Then sail down the Tudor creek on the Nawalikher dhow meaning `the gate way to Heaven' enjoying your cocktails as the tour guide lectures you about Mombasa‘s Old Town and Fort Jesus. You will enjoy a good four-course dinner of the fine aroma of grilled lobster steak, Arab brass coffee as the band plays variety of the popular rhythms which most of clients like dancing.

Finally you will arrive at your coastal hotel at mid night.

End of the trip.
