DAY 1. MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE (MARA SERENA LODGE, 4*)

You will be transferred from your hotel to the airport for flight to the Masai Mara Game Reserve early in the morning.

After landing at the Masai Mara game reserve airstrip after a two-hour flight, 4x4-land cruiser will pick you to the Mara Serena Lodge.

Lunch will follow then after a rest an afternoon game drive until in the evening. In the evening, entertainment of Masai dance and talks on Masai culture will follow in the lounge (on specific days), dinner and overnight

DAY 2. MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE (MARA SERENA LODGE, 4*)

Early morning tea or coffee followed by early morning game drive returning later for breakfast which will be followed by mid morning game drive until time for lunch in the lodge.

In the afternoon game drive another game drive until in the evening. Entertainment of Masai dance and talks on Masai culture will follow in the lounge (on specific days) the dinner and overnight.

DAY 3. FLY BACK TO KENYA COAST

Early morning tea or coffee followed by early morning game drive returning later for breakfast then another game drive until time for lunch.

After transfer to the airstrip for flight to Kenya coast arriving at about 16.00 hours then transfer to your hotel.

End of the safari.

ABOUT THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
An interpretation of a traditional Masai Manyatta village of domed huts, Mara Serena Lodge is set on the Saddle of a hill where it overlooks the 1800 square km of rolling plains, woodlands, and rivers that makes up the Masai Mara Triangle one of the worlds richest wildlife sanctuaries.

1. OPTIONAL ACTIVITY OF HOT AIR BALLOON SAFARI.

Welcome to a truly memorable balloon safari. You will have a chance to capture the entire beauty of the Masai Mara for 30 mins to 1-hour duration depending on weather conditions.  Your flight path is the direction of the wind, each flight an adventure, each one special. 

On landing you will enjoy a champagne breakfast fit for a king and the pilot will toast to your accomplishment with chilled champagne. Also to be served for the only time on your trip seated in the open plain are sparkling wine, orange juice, mineral water, coffee and tea. You will get a souvenir flight certificate too!

2. OPTIONAL ACTIVITY OF FISHING IN UNSPOILED PARADISE .

Set on Rusinga Island in Lake Victoria , the world's second largest fresh water lake, Rusinga Island Fishing Club is a delighted small and exclusive lodge very ideal and a romantic gateway. For a keen fisherman, Lake Victoria is a sporting paradise.

Nile parch abound and with frequent catches of over 100LBS., world records are constantly broken. Ruling's appeal is not just restricted to the fisherman; the bird life is phenomenal and many hours can be spent watching the majestic fish eagle and the dainty malachite kingfisher. Close by is the archaeological site, where Dr. Leakey discovered the proconsul ape. Here amateur geomologists can look for perfectly formed garnets. The scenery is outstanding with many of the nearby island inhabited by the hospitable Luo Basuba tribe who welcome visitors to their villages. Only forty five minutes (45) flight over ever changing countryside, Rusinga is easily accessible from the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Day and overnight excursions to the lake depart daily from the any airstrip in the Masai Mara.
