10 Days Flying Safari in Kenya
Amboseli National Park, Masai Mara Game Reserve & Lamu Island
The Southern Circuit 10 day flying safari based on either Cottar’s 1920’s,
Saruni, Richard’s Camp or Elephant Pepper Camp in the Masai Mara.
DAY 1 OF THE KENYAN SAFARI – NAIROBI CITY, NAIROBI SERENA HOTEL & SPA
You will be met and transferred from the Jomo Kenyatta International airport to Nairobi Serena Hotel on bed and breakfast.
DAY 2 & 3 OF THE KENYAN SAFARI – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK, Tortilis Camp
You will be collected at 06h15 and transferred to Wilson Airport for the 08h15 scheduled Safarilink flight to Amboseli to usher in this Safari in Kenya. Upon arrival you will be collected from the airstrip and taken to Tortilis camp, where you will be greeted by the overpowering beauty of Africa’s largest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Tortilis Camp consists of 17 traditional en-suite tents with spacious verandahs. There is also a family suite made up of one double and one twin room and a shared sitting and dining area. Activities include game drives, bush meals, sundowners and cultural visits.
DAY 4, 5 & 6. THE MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE, Cottars 1920’s Camp, Saruni Camp, Richard’s Camp & Elephant Pepper Camp
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your Safarilink scheduled flight, departing at 0905 hours to Wilson, where you will connect with the scheduled flight at 1000 hours to the Masai Mara.
The Masai Mara offers a true wildlife experience, one that is hard to duplicate anywhere else in the world. You can stay at any of the following: Cottars 1920’s, with its elegant style white tents and traditional luxury; Saruni’s intimate cottages with luxurious interiors and Italian fittings; Richard’s Camp is a traditional tented camp in true safari style with modern surprises or Elephant Pepper Camp, which brings you back to nature, no permanent structures, just the sights and sounds of the bush. The activities available include game drives, breakfasts out on the savannah, sundowners and guided bush walks.
DAY 7, 8 & 9 OF THE SAFARI IN KENYA LAMU ISLAND, MANDA BAY
After breakfast and an early morning game drive you will be transferred to the airstrip to meet the flight to Wilson Airport, departing at 1100 hours, arriving at 1215 hours. You will connect with the 1345 hours flight to Lamu. On arrival in Lamu at 1530 hours, you will be greeted by a Manda Bay representative and transferred by boat to Manda Bay.
The boat ride is approximately 20 minutes. Manda Island is an unspoiled island of the Lamu archipelago. Here your options include relaxation, water sports, and pampering. Manda Bay has 16 cottages located on miles of uninhabited beach, all in keeping with the local landscape, all with ceiling fans, en-suite bathrooms and verandah’s overlooking the ocean.
The activities are endless and include water-skiing, windsurfing and deep sea fishing. For those that prefer a less energetic holiday, board Manda Bay’s private 60ft “Utamaduni” dhow and let the dhow’s sails unfold and sail you off to some of the best snorkeling in the area. Manda Bay offers its guests the freshest catch straight from the sea; fresh crab, prawns, lobster and calamari.
DAY 10 IS THE LAST DAY OF YOUR KENYAN SAFARI – DEPARTURE
You will spend the morning relaxing, walking, soaking up the sun or getting one last water-ski, before you head to the airstrip to connect with the 1600 hours flight to Nairobi. On arrival at 1800 hours you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your Nairobi Hotel or to the international airport for your journey home.

EASTER SURCHARGE AND CHRISTMAS SURCHARGE
A surcharge would be charged per person per night on Good Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Easter Monday and on 24th 25th, 26th, 31st December and 1st January.
